a) by using completing the sq method, you will have identified the minimum point.
Y= (x^2 -k) +p
(K,p) is the minimum point


B) I think it pressures the use of a graphic calculator, cuz zoom function is a GC function.

c) simple calculus. Differentiation, equate the diffential equation to 0 cuz minimum point is stationary. Prove that's a minimum by differentiating to firm second order derivative. Sub in known values and the second order derivative should be more than 0

Press Shift then Trace buttons, to choose CALC menu...
When prompted Left Bound, move cursor to left of min point then press Enter. Right bound, move cursor to right of min point then Enter. For Guess value, ignore and press Enter. Answer of minimum x and y will be displayed.
