Pls help I know I have to differentiate first than sub in the x but I get a big number after I sub in so I think I am wrong

e^6 gets quite big so big numbers will not be. surprising.

Also, did you change your angle mode to radian format?

Oops. Sorry my bad, calculator was in degree mode. The working should make sense but the answers would not be right.

dy/dx should be -843 (3 s.f.)
gradient of normal should be -1/(-842.9270078) = 0.00119 (3 s.f.)
