a) (3/10)² × 2/10 × 5/10 × 4!/2!

bi) 5/10 × 4/9 × 3/8 × 2/7 × 4!/2!

bii) P(repeated green) + P(repeated blue) + P(repeated white)
= (5/10 × 4/9 × 3/8 × 2/7 + 3/10 × 2/9 × 5/8 × 2/7 + 2/10 × 1/9 × 5/8 × 3/7) × 4!/2!

Note that 4!/2! represents the permutation for 4 items of which 2 are identical.

i believe these answers for (a) & (b)(ii) are not correct.

for (a), the question states that the 4 balls are taken WITH REPLACEMENT. this means that number of balls remains the same. the answer posted on left, is assuming the case of 4 balls taken without replacement.

(b)(ii) answer is incorrect due to error carried forward from (a).

answers given by EPQP in comments in main section should be the correct answers.
