3 = 28 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x

28 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 3

25 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 0
⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 25

"÷5 " at both sides →
¹⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 5

"×12" at both side →
x = 12×5 = 60 (Ans)

hello! hope this helps. to make fraction into whole number, u multiply the fraction by its denominator. eg. 3/4 x 3 = 3 (whole number! :D)
