3 = 28 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x
28 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 3
25 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 0
⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 25
"÷5 " at both sides →
¹⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 5
"×12" at both side →
x = 12×5 = 60 (Ans)
28 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 3
25 - ⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 0
⁵⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 25
"÷5 " at both sides →
¹⁄₁₂ ∙ x = 5
"×12" at both side →
x = 12×5 = 60 (Ans)
isit i js times all the numbers thr by 12?? i dnt understand ur working sry
how do i get rid of the denominator if the numerator is nt 1

hello! hope this helps. to make fraction into whole number, u multiply the fraction by its denominator. eg. 3/4 x 3 = 3 (whole number! :D)

ohh so for eg if i have like 5/20 i js multiply by 20?
yupp! 5/20 multiplied by 20 is 5 :) (u can use ur calculator to see)
