Since degree of numerator is less than degree of denominator, the denominator is the divisor and the numerator is the remainder.
Take 7*divide* 2 as an example.
7/2= 3 1/2 where 3 is quotient, 1 is remainder and 2 is divisor.

Similar to (a), but this time round, the deg of numerator and denominator are same, so we do long division.
