To score 30 points, each throw has to hit the circle with radius 3cm. The probability of hitting the circle with radius 3cm= area of circle with radius 3cm/ area of whole square.
This is for 1 throw. For 3 throws, raise it to power 3.
To score leas than 4 points in 2 throws, each throw must fall outside the big circle. Probability = area of square - area of big circle/ area of square
