Logically thinking... If you work on F.
At 1st is 3u
After received 57
Have 6u
So increased by 6u-3u = 3u
3u = 57
1u= 19

In this problem, the transfer is within themselves. When this happens, total amount before and after transfer REMAINS THE SAME.
The total before is 10 units. The total after is 5 units. So we make 5 units x2=10 units.
Each of the unit in after ratio has to be multiplied by 2. Now, after ratio is 4 : 6.
At first, siti had 7 units, now 4. So she gave 3 units to fauziah. Likewise, at first fauziah had 3 units. After receiving from siti, she now has 6 units, which means she received 3 units.
3 units= 57
Hope this helps.
