30% = 0.3
1+0.3+1 = 2.3
B=boys=2.3×80 = 184
for girls
100%-15% = 85% = 0.85
1+0.85 = 1.85
G=girls = 1.85×60 = 111
B+G in two days
= 184+111 = 295
(a)
assume same price for girl and boy
$ each
= $9440÷295 = $32 (Ans)
(b)
Thur=80+60 = 140
Fri = 1.3×80+0.85×60 = 155
Fri - Thur
= 155 - 140 = 15
15÷140×100% = 10.71% (Ans)
