Similarly for 18(i), the degree of polynomial on LHS is 4. X(x-1)(x+1) gives a cubic polynomial. So Q(x) must be linear of degree 1 so that it gives a degree 4 polynomial.
(ii), compare coefficients with LHS and find the values.
