60%=3/5 boys
Difference in units of boys n girls=1 unit
Similarly,
If you look at the model drawing of the 2 groups of pupils, there are 34 more boys and 6 more girls. So the difference in boys and girls is just 34 - 6= 28
So,
1 unit=28
Total units of pupils =5
5 units= 28 x 5=140
