Hi There,

The equation of dynamic pressure is given in the question and you could see there's a correlation between dynamic pressure and velocity, more specifically it's a r^2 correlation.

If we are to compare the dyanamic pressure of the faster fluid : slower fluid, the eqn will be as follows:

1/2 * n* (1.5v)^2 : 1/2 * n * v^2

Since they are the same fluid, n would be the same in both cases. By simplifying, you will get

1.5^2 : 1
9/4 : 1
9 : 4

To do this question fast, look for the only variable.
In this case, the only variable is v which has a power of 2.
Hence, the ratio will have to be squared.
