Mary wants to buy a dress with her savings. If she increases her savings by 10%, she will still need $14 more to buy the dress. If she increases her savings by 45%, she will have $7 in excess. What is the cost of the dress?

110% + 14 = 145% - 7
21 = 35%
1% = 21÷35 =0.6
Cost of dress = 110×0.6 + 14 = $80
