Since there are two given ratios, you need to find the common base. In this case, make the adults the same (by multiplying the men:women ratio by 3).

Adults consist of men and women. The ratio of men to women is 1:2, which adds up to 3. By mulitplying both sides by 3, we end up with a ratio of 3:6 that adds up to 9, allowing us to fit it into the original ratio as 7:5:3:6 (boys:girls:men:women).
