Hi ! Can someone please explain why 1) equation of circle was used in answering part (i) and 2) Domain of graph is restricted to -2<= x <=2 in part (iii)? Thanks !!

1) What was used is the distance formula between two points. When one of the points is a variable, like in this example,, the formula resembles the equation of the circle.

2) Sketch the path of B and you'll see the same restriction applies to B's possible x coordinate positions.
