Hi, answer booklet shows

180-34 = 146
146 ÷2 = 73
73 - 45 = 18

But I don't understand why 73 - 45. Can help to explain?

Diagonals of a square bisect the internal angles. AC is the diagonal of the square ABCD. Angle DAC = half of 90 degrees, which is 45 degrees.
