Qn 10. Rina's sister saved 14 dollars over 7 weeks because 14 ÷ 2 = 7 weeks. Since Rina saves $4.5 each week , Rina has saved 4.5* 7 = 31.5 . Therefore ,Rina has saved $31.5 dollars.
Qn 11.
Cost of each one of 3 similar pens = cost of 1 similar eraser + $0.8(80 cents).
Therefore,7.5 dollars = 6 units + 0.8×3
1 unit = ( 7.5 - 2.4) /6 = 0.85 cents.
Therefore, cost of 1pen = 0.85 + 08 = $1.65
