Hi, first perform prime factorisation on the number (792 in this case).

Next, recognize that a perfect cube means that all the powers of the prime factors must be a multiple of 3. For the number 792, the powers of the prime factors 3 and 11 are not multiples of 3. Hence the number k that you multiply to 792 must contain the prime factors 3 and 11 and make the powers of all the prime factors a multiple of 3. Refer to the full walkthrough above.

In general, for this type of questions, you can follow this “template” to solve the question:

1) Perform prime factorization
2) Find the smallest possible perfect cube
3) Divide that perfect cube by the number to find k
