Alice = x yrs old
Bernice = Alice × 3 = 3x yrs old
Candace = Bernice + 4 = 3x + 4 yrs old
(3x + 4) - x = 2x + 4
Candace is 2x + 4 years older than Alice
If Alice is 10 yrs old, x = 10
Candace is (2 × 10) + 4 years older than Alice
-> 24 years
Bernice = Alice × 3 = 3x yrs old
Candace = Bernice + 4 = 3x + 4 yrs old
