@Owen 12/12 is whole journey x to y.
Total distance X to Y = 12u
Car 1h travel 3u
Bus 1h travel 2u
Total in 1h, travel 5u
So, 12u take 12u/5u = 2.4h = 2h 24mins...

Sorry, but the total time they travel is 4hour+6hour =10hour
Total speed they combined = 5/12 “D”
So why not time =distance Divide speed
= 5/12 x10 .. ??
Sorry i still cannot get it????
What are the step? What should we found first???

We need to find time when both car and bus travel 12u

Speed = 5/12
Distance = 12/12
Time = D/S = 12/12 ÷ 5/12
= 12/12 × 12/5
= 12/5
= 2.4 hour
= 2 h 24mins
