Hey! Thank you so much for the help. I'm still a little confused why you used (100 + r / 100) in the bracket instead of the compound interest formula? Please help me explain, thank you!!!
Good evening. Sorry for the tardy reply. Well, the formula is great if we know what R is, but in this question we are supposed to find R. 100 divided by 100 is 1 whole, so we can rewrite ( 1 + [R/100]) into (100 + R)/100. The value is not changed, just the form.
