Same number of marbles used. So this is a 'equal concept' question.

Make all the numerators the same, then compare the denominators.

½ , 3/10, and ¾

Common multiple for the numerator is 3.

Multiply both top and bottom by 3,

½ = 3/6

Comparing the denominator,

John has 6 units
Ming Eng has 10 units
Ahmad has 4 units

Total = 6 + 10 + 4 = 20 units

20 units = 1600
1 unit = 1600 ÷ 20 = 80

They used 3 units each.

Marbles used to fill the box
= 3 × 3 units
= 9 units

= 9 × 80
= 720 (Answer)
