= (1 + √(4×2) )²
= (1 + √4√2)²
= (1 + 2√2)²
= 1² + 2(1)(2√2) + (2√2)²
= 1 + 4√2 + 8
= 9 + 4√2
3√2 / (1 + √8)²
= 3√2 / (9 + 4√2)
= 3√2 / (9 + 4√2) × (9 - 4√2)/(9 - 4√2)
= 3√2 × (9 - 4√2) / (9 + 4√2)(9 - 4√2)
= (27√2 - 12√2√2) / (9² - (4√2)²)
= (27√2 - 12×2) / (81 - 4²×2)
= (27√2 - 24) / (81 - 32)
= (27√2 - 24) / 49
(1 + √8)²
