a) Apple after sold 60% = 3 × 40% = 1.2
New ratio A : O
= 1.2 : 10
= 12 : 100
= 3 : 25
New ratio A : O
= 1.2 : 10

b) answer 400. You do the working.
May I ask why can’t I simplify it by dividing? Instead I have to change 1.2 to 12?
