Thanks for your answer. I still can’t figure out how Q is 40%?
Area of P + Area of S = half of Area of Rectangle
Half --> 1/2 = 50%
Since P is 10%,
50% - 10% = 40%
Therefore, S is 40%
Same for Q and R (Area of Triangle in its related Rectangle),
Given Q is 15%
50% - 15% = 35%
Therefore, R is 35%

Thank you again. I understand your working … but how do we tell that triangle S is 40%? I can’t tell from the diagram.
Area of Rectangle = 100%
Area of P = 10%
Area of Q = 15%
Area of R = 35%
Area of S = 100% - 10% - 15% - 35% = 40%
