The average mass of a group of children is 36 kg. When Mr Wong joins them, the average mass of Mr Wong and the children becomes 38 kg. Mr Wong weighs 64 kg. How many children are there in the group?

64 - 38 = 26
Average difference = 38 - 36 = 2
Therefore,
Number of children = 26 ÷ 2 = 13

Yeah...
Children average is increased from 36 to 38 kg, so 2 kg increased contribute from Mr Wong.

Mr Wong 64, the average taken 38, balance 26kg distribute to all children each with 2 kg, so 13 children.
