△EBC = △EBD

△ABC = △AED
=½×2×8
=8(Ans)

If the question is asking AB
AB= 2×8÷6 = 8/3

But for the current Qn, no need to find AB.

Ohh AB is not the base?

AB can be a base if you know the length of AB. For this question, it is no way to find AB (For primary students) unless using secondary school method (similar triangle method).

For Primary students, you need to know and identify which are the base and height.

Remember this:
Base always perpendicular with height which is 90°
