thank you but can u explain c?
For (c),
1) I split the 5 and 7, 1/7 = 7^-1.
2) Then use laws of indices like a^m+1 = a x a^m and (a^5)^7 = a^35 to make 5^m and 7^m come out
3) sub x and y in
