Answer line 2 shouldn’t have a double equal on the same line

This saves writing a line but it is not the correct way of presenting the solution.

It is conceptually incorrect.

A=B=C
A=C is using the property of transitivity.

But in your working, it is simply expansion of B and using equality

And you have mixed the concepts in that steps
