1C+ 2D = $10----equation 1
3C + 2D= $18---- equation 2
Take equation 2 minus equation 1
3C- 1C = 2C
2C = $18-$10 = $8
1C = $8/ 2 = $4
To find the cost of 1 D,
$10- $4= $6
$6/2 = $3
Total cost of 1C and 1D :
$3 +$4= $7
3C + 2D= $18---- equation 2
Take equation 2 minus equation 1
3C- 1C = 2C
2C = $18-$10 = $8
1C = $8/ 2 = $4
To find the cost of 1 D,
$10- $4= $6
