I ask for (b) not (a)
X < -8
X smaller than -8, answer x= -9.
-9 is smaller than -8.

Number to the left is smaller.
Answer should be = -9.

The correct answer for part b) is -9. The person who created the worksheet entered the wrong answer of -7
