9/10 ÷ 1/8 = 9/10 x 8 = 72/10 = 7 1/5 cups Hence the maxiumum number of cups is 7.
b) Since she has 1/5 cup remaining, and each cup is 1/8L, she will have 1/5 x 1/8L = 1/40L
