Mary had 70% left = 7 units
So, 100% is 10 units

Likewise, Jane had 80% left = 13 units
So, 100% is 13÷4×5 = 16.25 units

6.25 units is $125. Find 1 unit and then find 16.25 units (what Jane had at first)

80% = 13
20% = 13÷4
100% = 13÷4×5

13÷80×100 works fine too

Because jane had 16.25 units at first.

Jane had 13 units which is the same as 80% of her money. If you calculate 100%, you will get 16.25 units.
