I very urgently need help with this Primary 6 Math Question by today, help would be much appreciated!

Transferring question: what is lost in field A is gained in field B.
You could solve this by algebra:
Let g and b be the number of girls and boys transferred respectively.
Field A
56 - g : 84 - b = 1:2
Field B
42 + g : 78 + b = 2:3
From the equation you get for Field A:
112 - 2g = 84 - b
2g - b = 28
From the equation you get for Field B:
126 + 3g = 156 + 2b
3g - 2b = 30
Solve this by elimination and you will get
g = 26, b = 24
If you are not comfortable with elimination method, I guess you can solve by model too by drawing 112 - 2g = 84 - b and 126 + 3g = 156 + 2b.
Sorry for the long working but can't think of other simpler method to solve.
