First, try to get sinx and cos x out by converting tan and sec.
After that, to get rid of the cos^2 x by converting 1 to sin^2 x + cos^2 x.
Then, you notice the trigo looks like algebra a^2 - b^2 and a^2 + 2ab + b^2. So, factorize by converting to (a+b)(a-b) and (a+b)^2 respectively.
Lastly, cancel (a+b) in numerator and denominator.
