I managed to get the correct answers to 6(i) & (ii). It was a miscalculation on my part.

By moving the constant variable to the right hand side of the equation, it's easier to apply completing the square, as it will become positive on both sides

Seeing thie equation factorised, first is to expand it to get the quadratic equation. Then similar with 5c, make the constant variable on the right hand side of the equation
