48 / 5 = 9.6. Where is the ‘remainder 3’? I’ so confused??
9x5 = 45
48 - 45 = remainder 3

If you do multiples of 5, the closest you will get to 48 is 45....so the remainder is 3. Hope this clears up the confusion.
I’m sorry if I’m bothering you but the question did not state anything about the multiple of 5. Is it the question itself phrase it wrongly??
