Why -b/a=0 become -1/6(h+5)=0 ?
Is h+5 the root?

This question is no longer in the A Maths syllabus as of now.

“h + 5” does not represent any particular root in this case, but it’s related to the sum of the two roots of the equation - even if you do not know any particular root, their sum can somehow be found.

Thanks Sir for highlighting the change of syllabus. It's been years since my O's Amath paper. Good heavens! Time flies fast.
