Let the radius = r
Surface area = 2πrh
When r increased 10%, r = 1.1r
Surface area = 2π(1.1r)h = 2.2πrh
% increase= (2.2πrh-2πrh)/2πrh ×100% =10%
Surface area = 2πrh
When r increased 10%, r = 1.1r
Surface area = 2π(1.1r)h = 2.2πrh
% increase= (2.2πrh-2πrh)/2πrh ×100% =10%
