Make 2y the subject from eqn 1
2y=3x-1
Sub 2y=3x-1 in to (2y+3)
new eqn (x-2)^2+(3x-1+3)^2=26
Open up the squares.
Then solve for x using the quadratic formula or chopstick method( can check which to use by doing the b^2-4ac).
