a) Joe will observe that the petals of the white flower would have changed colour from white to a red and blue colour.
b) The flower takes in water from the roots which is put into red and blue coloured water, then it is transported to other parts of the plant through the stem. When the flower takes in water and transports it to other parts of the plant, when the water reaches the petals, it changes the colour of it.
