For a, since it is a show question, appropriate reasons must be given to show that BC = AE and use TOA CAH SOH to obtain the perimeter.

For b, it is much more straightforward using the standard R formulae. You might want to write out the formulae like R = sqroot (a^2 + b^2) and alpha = tan^-1 (b/a) since the marks are quire generous with the amount of workings needed.
