If you have listed out the possibilities, the person buys 33 chocolates (in 3 packs) and 14 sweets (in 2 packs). This can be done in trial and error.

Total cost
= 3 x $9.80 plus 2 x $3.45
= $29.40 plus $6.90
= $36.30
