Srry but I need the method
Primary, work with the whole number
If the difference is 1
Small → u
Big → u+1
Small + Big = 2u+1 → odd number
While 642 is an even number
So the answer is 2!
If the difference is 2
Small + Big = 2u+2 = 642
Small → u = (642-2)÷2=320
Big → u+2 = 322
If the difference is 1
Small → u
Big → u+1
Small + Big = 2u+1 → odd number
While 642 is an even number
So the answer is 2!
If the difference is 2

Big → u+2 = 322
