3 pies were shared among 5 children.

Means, we divide the 3 pies to the 5 children.

Each child receives 3 pies divided by 5, or 3/5 of a pie.

Two children will receive twice of this amount, or 3/5 x 2 = 6/5 of a pie.

So, two children receive 1 1/5 of a pie.
