One Answer Below
Anyone can contribute an answer, even non-tutors.
Pls help
- Opposite lengths are equal (ie the two lengths are equal while the two breadths/widths are equal)
- Opposite lengths are parallel
- All four angles inside the rectangle are 90 degrees each
Squares have the added property that the length and breadth are the same.
So, squares follow the basic properties of the rectangle (and actually more!).
This is why all squares are rectangles. But not all rectangles are squares because the length and breadth may not be equal in value.
