Can u help me in one more question explanation. Any easier way to do this question ?

The first 5 terms of a number sequence is as follows
12, 15, 18, 21, 24, ...

Find the value of the 100th term.

As you can see here every term increased 3.
So,
1×3 +9 = 12
2×3 +9 = 15
3×3 +9 = 18
4×3 +9 = 21
Tn×3 +9 = 3n +9

Term 100 = 100×3 +9 = 309

But how to get +9 leh. Have to guess ?

OK.
As every terms +3
So we knew that next term is ×3
Then we check the 1st term and 2nd term normally....
1st term = 12
1×3 = 3 (we need to +9) to get 12.
So try term 2 =15 and so on...
2×3 = 6 ( need+9 ) = 15..

Oh I see . This explanation sound logic and easier to remember.. . So it works on other pattern too ?

Can u give a sample for my girl to try again and see she know how to do not. Thanks

Use square numbers to solve.

6×6 = 36

Yes. Good.
If you use +3, +5, +7 , +9, +11 also can.
25+11 = 36
But if question ask to find term 30 then gg Liao.
So, use 30×30 = 900 will be the best solution.

Need to remember this 1,4,9,16,25 is
Term × term
