for simultaneous equations in current O level Add Maths syllabus, one of the equations should be linear. this question should be out of Add Maths syllabus because it involves 2 non-linear equations. this question probably meant for IP students. nevertheless, solving the 2 equations is similar, you need to try to reduce to one unknown by elimination or by substitution.
