(1) laptops →
($8400-$3480)÷2 = $2460

(4) iPad →
$2460 + 3480 = $5940

$2460÷1 = $2460
$5940÷4 = $1485
$2460 - $1485 = $975

$975÷$325 = 3 (Ans)

Hope this helps you. Some people would make the mistake of taking $3480 dividing by three to find the value of the laptops, based on the first model. However, this is wrong as the value of the laptops does not equal to the value of the Ipads. The first model is for the NUMBER of laptops and Ipads and NOT THE VALUE of the items. Hope this helps.
