Since the smallest number is 20, the 4 consecutive numbers are 20, 22, 24 and 26. They are even numbers and add up to 92.

Not sure is it because your school teach using model? Will you understand this better? U means unit. Since they are consecutive even numbers, they differ from each other by 2

i think this is how they want you to solve it, by using the first example to find the total difference between the smallest number and the other 3 numbers
