It’s actually -13y = 26.
ohhh okayy, then what is the next step for 6x-3(-2)=16?
6x - 3 (-2) = 16
6x + 6 = 16
6x = 10
x = 10/6 = 5/3
6x + 6 = 16
6x = 10
x = 10/6 = 5/3
FYI: if you are using Casio fx 96 sg or 97 sg, there is an in-built function for simultaneous equation solving.
